About West San Jose Acupuncture

Vivian Liu, L.Ac. founded West San Jose Acupuncture in 2020 in order to fill a gap in the world of modern medical practices. Our mission at West San Jose Acupuncture is to provide our patients with an integrated and holistic approach to healing. We do not simply fix problems, but seek also to attack the root of patients’ issues and teach how to self-heal.

At our facilities, our licensed and trained acupuncturists produce meticulously crafted diagnoses for each patient, and by selecting from a wide variety of TCM techniques such as acupuncture, therapeutic massage, and cupping, provide individualized packages of short- and long-term solutions accordingly. With each visit, you’ll receive personalized 1-on-1 treatment and leave healthier than before.

With newly opened locations in San Jose and Sunnyvale, West San Jose Acupuncture aims to improve the lives of patients throughout the Bay Area, with services ranging from acute illness care to daily lifestyle suggestions. Book an appointment today to get started!

TCM

Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, is a set of medical theories and techniques with thousands of years of empirical practice on humans. TCM emphasizes the harmony between human and nature, human and society, and within the human body. It is an accumulation of ancient Chinese philosophy and integration of multiple techniques; practitioners diagnose patients holistically and help them recover from illnesses using a combination of these techniques.

Scientific research[1] has provided substantial evidence that acupuncture is a relatively safe, effective, and environmentally clean way to relieve pain. Acupuncture has also been shown to be an effective treatment for other  conditions. In addition, herb medicine, Tai Chi, Tui Na massage, moxibustion, nutritional recommendations and lifestyle counseling, are all additional TCM techniques that we may utilize to improve your health.
